Community Resource Information Events
February 27th and 28th, April 10th, and May 1st, 2021 - Memorial Quilt Project
TriCircle is working on their 2nd Memorial Quilt, and May 1st, from 11am-3pm we are inviting individuals and families to come together to remember and memorialize their loved ones in a supportive and caring environment. The TriCircle Memorial Quilts will be displayed at are community events in an effort to reduce stigma and create meaningful conversations about substance use and the disease of addiction. TriCircle, Inc. hopes that by putting the faces of those who have died in the forefront, we will reinforce the need to create long term solutions and make the valuable changes necessary to improve the system of care and recovery.
April 13, 2021 - DMHAS Family Webinar Series - Holding Onto Hope - Come hear from Ceci Iliff, Founder, TheCharityChallenge.net, Leah Williams, Amplify, and Richard Youins, Yale PRCH, who have navigated grief & loss from various personal, family, and community perspectives, including the impacts of mental health, addiction, trauma, Covid-19 and how they found hope. Attendees will hear about CT supports and resources, and have the opportunity to talk with other families about your own experiences navigating grief, loss and hope.
April 23, 2021 & May 21, 2021 - Everyone Knows Someone III
On May 21st, you are welcome to physically join us at the Wallingford Elks Lodge 1365 for a hybrid (Zoom and Face to Face) Narcan training. CDC regulations will be followed and light snacks will be served. BHcare will be providing this training and making Narcan kits available for those who attend the training. Our guest speaker Robert "Bobby Lawlor from New England HIDTA will be joining us again to continue our conversation related to trends and substances in our state and New England. Making day two a hybrid opportunity will allow us to showcase The Paraphernalia Project and some of the Elks National Drug Awareness Program resources.
May 8. 2021 - Raging Bull Harley Davidson's Ride for Tomorrow - Ride starts and ends at RBHD - 300 Muldee St. Durham, NC 27703. $10 all vehicles. 10:00am Registration. 12:00pm Kickstands Up! Ride will stop at Pik N Pig for lunch. In Loving Memory of David Fry (5/7/63 - 6/2/20) . All Proceeds to be donated to Tricircle, Inc. The QR Code has a direct link to our PayPal account for donations.
June 6. 2021 - The Charity Challenge Twisted Trail Color Run at Tamarack Lodge - This fun filled, exciting trail race offers challenges to both experienced trail runners and weekend warriors. The course is a 5K with a 1 mile option. Run, walk or crawl through beautiful forests and over the twisted terrain, a portion of the trail spills onto the enchanting Voluntown Peace Trust and there is even a rocky stream crossing to test your fortitude! You will find other crazy challenges along the way - a tire obstacle, balance beam, ball toss, crawl through, a log walk and more! The three Color Blaze stations will surprise and delight you and your race kit comes complete with a really awesome tee shirt, a wristband, a packet of color to use as you please, tattoos, a sticker and cool sunglasses! In order to receive a complete race kit you must register by midnight on Friday, May 21. Otherwise, plain white tee shirts in various sizes will be available for purchase on race day!

Family, friends and loved ones are encouraged to create a square as a tribute to their loved one. TriCircle, Inc. will use the squares to create their own Remembrance Quilt(s) for display at events and trainings. This quilt will help to raise awareness about the disease of addiction, break the stigma and open conversations about the loved represented so their lives aren’t gone in vain. Together WE are Stronger!

TriCircle, Inc. will also be showing it's recently created Docu-Style PSA. TCI was honored by being the first recipients of Connecticut Film Initiative's Film for Therapy initiative.
L. P. Vine, the pen name of a Wallingford resident and author of The Beep Beep Man will be with us to share his book and sign copies. This book is a heart felt, and painful fiction reflective of lives of so many Americans and their families affected by substance use disorders.
June 9, 2019 - Bus trip to Historic Fenway Park to see the 2018 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox take on the Tampa Bay Ray's at 1:05 pm. Tickets are $105.00 per person and seating is limited to 52 passengers. Dattco bus will leave from the Westfield Meriden Mall, 470 Lewis Avenue, Meriden (Macy's side parking lot) at 10:00am. Ticket purchase includes the bus transportation to and from the park, game ticket in the grandstand section, a $15 stadium voucher, and additional snacks and beverages for the ride up on the bus. June 2, 2017 - TheCharityChallenge.net HUGE Yard Sale - On the weekend of June 2, Noank was home to the 4th Annual Charity Challenge Huge Yard Sale to benefit TriCircle, Inc. and Safe Futures. Donations from all over were collected year-round and the sale netted $1,252 which will be divided evenly among the two charitable organizations.
